Furniture gets blankets and straps. Beds and flat-pack come apart if you've asked. You pay for the time the job actually takes.

What affects the price

How much is moving: More to carry takes longer, and bigger loads get the 10 tonne truck and an extra mover.
Stairs and lifts: Every flight without a lift adds carrying time at that end.
Parking: A long walk from the truck to the door adds time. A clear spot out the front saves it.
The drive: Time on the road between your two addresses is part of the job.
Extras: Packing, unpacking and furniture assembly are shown separately in your estimate.
